What information do I need to place an order?

Concrete is ordered by the cubic yard (27 cubic feet). Concrete is calculated by multiplying length x width x depth, and dividing by 27. We have great tools that will help you determine how much concrete you need! *

*It is suggested that extra concrete is ordered to allow for variations in the

grading, compaction, and any spillage that may occur while placing the concrete.

Can concrete be poured in cold weather? What if it is really hot?

Of course you can! But just like anything, extreme cold & extreme heat present additional challenges with concrete.

Additives can be placed into the concrete to compensate for these conditions. Use of additives may cause additional expense. In the winter time we use heated mixing water and accelerating chemicals added to the concrete to help control set times and temperatures. In the summer we use chemicals to control set time, and we offer ice to every customer to use to help control concrete temperatures and extend the working time of your concrete! If you have any concerns or worries, ask us! We are always here to help!

Will cracks appear on my poured concrete?

Can concrete be poured in cold weather? What if it is really hot?

Will cracks appear on my poured concrete?

As concrete cures the mixing water used in concrete evaporates from the concrete as causes the concrete to shrink. This may result in some cracks in the surface of the concrete. Proper placement and curing of the concrete can help reduce the likelihood that the concrete will crack. We have been there and done that, so if you need any help, ask! We have concrete experts on staff to help you!
